What Are Pillagers Outposts?

Pillar Outposts in Minecraft are structures that occur naturally in the game world. They are usually made of wood and stone and contain pilasters, vindicators and sometimes liger captains. These hostile mobs are known for their aggressive behavior and tendency to attack players and villagers on sight. In Minecraft, a Pillagers outpost consists of a circular area approximately 74x52x72 blocks in size where Pillagers will spawn.

How To prevent Pillagers Spawn in Minecraft?

If you are determined to eliminate all the Pillagers and hope that eventually, they will stop laying eggs, you are in for a tough time because they will never stop spawning on their own. Therefore, you need to keep an eye on their outpost and prevent the Pillars from establishing a presence. To do this, illuminate the areas both around and inside the checkpoint. Make sure lighting levels are high enough to prevent crowd spread. To make sure the area is well lit, you can use torches, lanterns or other light emitting blocks. Keep in mind that Pilgrims will continue to lay eggs as long as the light level is below 8, so it is important to maintain adequate lighting to prevent them from laying eggs.

You need to replace all the sand and grass blocks around the outpost (within a radius of 74 blocks) with other blocks because even after controlling the outpost, pillars will continue to spawn if these blocks are not replaced.

Building walls or barriers around outposts can greatly reduce the chance of Pillars spawning. Use strong materials like stone, iron, or other hard-to-break blocks to create impenetrable barriers. Make sure that the walls are high enough that the pillars cannot easily climb over them. However, keep in mind that there is no surefire method to guarantee results.
