Barcelona, which began its La Liga title defense away at Getafe on Sunday, completed its preseason with a fourth win in five matches.

The match was Barca’s first game at the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium, its temporary home for the 2023–24 season, which is being renovated as part of the Camp Nou redevelopment.

Barca’s summer strength saw performances by Ilkay Gundogan, Oriol Romeu and Inigo Martínez in front of a crowd of over 35,244 before the game, and coach Xavi Hernández addressed the fans saying, Winning all the titles this season is the greatest. The point is the goal for our team.

France forward Ousmane Dembele, who is expected to join Paris Saint-Germain in a €50m transfer from Umarike, and Ivory Coast midfielder Frank Casey, who is in the final stages of moving to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli. He stayed out of the squad.

Meanwhile, Tottenham’s Harry Kane remains in London in talks with his club regarding a possible transfer to Bayern Munich.

Barcelona wasted no time and took the lead in the third minute when last season’s La Liga top scorer Lewandowski struck from point-blank range after a superb run from Rafinha and should soon double the lead for the Brazilians. Was, only for his close ones. The border attempt should be rejected.

Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario had to stretch to stop Lewandowski’s 30-yard effort.

Touch secured a draw in the first half. Reguilon found Giovanni Lo Celso in the box and Argentina’s effort from the post failed, but Skip Tapp was there for the rebound.

Tottenham went ahead and took the lead in the 37th minute when Skip put a cross into the back of the net for Ivan Perisic.

Gundogan was one of six Barcelona players who arrived an hour later. As soon as the German midfielder entered the field, he was given a rousing reception by the crowd. Barcelona looked the more dangerous side and equalized in the 81st minute when Yamin Lamal fired the ball into the box and Torres made no mistake from six yards.

A brilliant move from Lamel put Spurs’ defense in trouble, and with a square pass, he picked out Torres, who set up Fati in the box for a perfect finish to put Barca ahead.

It was a wonderful night for Barcelona when Frankie de Jong set up Abde on the ground set up by Firmino López and fired the ball into the back of the net. On Saturday, Tottenham started playing in the Premier League against Brentford.
